I have become a riding lover from the year of 2009. Everything changes better when I was seriously ill in 2009. I realized that I need sports. Riding seems a very good method to make me more healthy and sunshine.
I have made a long ride of 412km a day last summer from my county to the other county. It has made me exhausted completely, but sooner a totally relax of both my body and heart.
My formal average riding speed is among 35km-50km an hour. While I need climbing, the speed would be 18-21km. I am not sure if this speed is suitable and correct in riding.
Please let me know the formal average riding speeding. Please just share it here.
What are you guys riding btw?
I don’t understand how anything higher than 30-35 km/h would be possible (sustained) on what I ride (hardtail MTB), unless my speedo’s off…
Strong wind you get feel if you have an extremely high speed. I only make a high speed while climbing down the road. I am feeling afraid of high speed riding.
I’d imagine it’s possible on a road bike. I ride a rather beaten up 2007 Giant TCR-A1, and I can sustain a bit over 20mph for short distances if I’m pushing myself (I’m about as fit as an old sock :weary:).
