Try to clean it with IPA (not the beer but alcohol). Use gently with cotton bud. It worked for me. As long as that’s just a surface mark, you have a chance.
Let it soak in 91% ipa for a few hours. If by chance you have an ultrasonic jewelry cleaner, that would be good to try.
The phosphor on these are very delicate when it comes to abrasion.
