I used to buy Panasonic and LG (HG2) cells from Gearbest and Fasttech, for I think around $20 a 4-pack.
Now those two sites won’t seem to ship to Canada, and it seems like anyone who will wants $10+ per cell!
Where can I pick up 16x of the HG2 cells, shipped to Canada, at a more palatable price?

Your best bet may be to get some Laptop OEM battery packs off epay and strip out the cells.
Some of the members can probably recommend which brand will yield the best cells.
They are not going to be HG2’s but still some very good cells can be had fairly cheap this way and the shipping should not be an issue.
Sounds like come enterprising Canadians could make a tidy sum by visiting USA in cars and bring a load of cells back.

I have taken apart laptop cells before and have lots of 18650s generally. I need specifically high drain cells (and new ones at that), so in this case, I need a source to order from.
What may be local 'Vape' stores, and, online Canadian stores like Canvape, (https://www.canvape.com) is pretty much all that is available to us.
Selection is minimal, but several good high drain cells are available.
At least prices are in $CAD, and shipping is free.
