haha just swapped it into a sc31pro and shorted it out with the reflector and now it doesnt turn off

OMG you killed so many drivers LOL. Next time when reflowing a LED onto the MCPCB, when the solder is still liquid, use a cotton bud to dab the LED lightly downward so all the excess solder gets squeezed out. If you do it properly you should see beads of solder forming around the LED. You can either pick them off, or leave them as they are.
i fixed the pad, the issue was my horrible solder joints shorted with the reflector. ordered some leaded solder finally, i hope the aliexpress stuff will be legit 60/40

Weāve all learned that lesson. Every now and then I go to mod a light I havenāt used in a while and Iām surprised to find the inside of the reflector covered in electrical tape, then I rememberā¦
