Where to buy brass pill like the ones in S2+ ?

Anyone know where to buy brass pills like the kind in Convoy S-series?

Checked Fasttech, KD and Simon shop, none I can see

It doesn’t even have to fit Convoy, just the same style…

In Convoy flashlight store, it is not for sale, but maybe you can ask Simon to sell you some or to send you for free (in case if being one or 2 eventually), if you buy other stuff!

I also think that kiriba-ru sells those, but I’m not 100% sure!

Thanks, I did try once to get Simon to sell me just the S2+ tail cap and he wouldn’t, but I could try again for the pill.

kiriba-ru is great, but his is pretty much specialty stuff for specific mods and cost a bit more, I’m looking for cheapo $3-$5

I did buy 1 or 2 in KD store in AliExpress (LHT). They sell some brass pills, some for P60 lights, others that are like Convoy but smaller in height. I hadn’t searched it for a while, so I don’t know if they still have them in stock.

When I bought some lights in Convoy store, I asked Simon to sell me 1 pill and he ended up sending it for free!
Maybe you can try asking him that again!! :+1:

Yeah, I was buying some ZWB2 filters, switches, something else, and just asked him how much for pills if he sold any, as I didn’t see any in the shop, and he said he’d throw in 3 for free, which he did. He’s wonderful.

FT has/had them, but they were NOT listed as S2+ pills, but you had to go by size to find which one it was. Gotta look in the comments/questions/reviews to dig up this info, sometimes.

Have bought a few pills from them in the past, but they are “sold out” for quite some time now. Don’t think they are coming back. And yes, under “Discussions” it becomes clear these are also fit for a Convoy C2(+). Have not seen them elsewhere.

Thanks yeah and some of the brass pills at KD are sold out too (and don’t think they are coming back either)

For the purpose I have in mind for this (a custom build, not an S2 or tube light) I’ve decided to use an S6 pill, it’s the longer one, about twice as long as these or the S2+ pills, so it will have a lot more mass for thermal transfer/heat sink. I’ll be using it with an xhp50.

I’ll eventually need to get a replacement for the S6 that I’m pillaging it from, so I’ll need to ask Simon for one.
