When I won the auction I sent the seller an e-mail to ask if whether this was the EL-01A (plain edge model as they have it listed) or the half-serrated EL-01AB (which they had it pictured). I got a reply saying they would send the knife as pictured.
I could tell from the correspondence that they are not that good with English, so I let it be and told them to send it to me. I could live with either version, so I took the gamble.
In a way it worked out good for me because they had the wrong picture. I think people may have not bid on it because the half-serrated isn’t as desirable as the plain edge for most people.

I’ve just bought an Enlan/Bee EL-01D, the Rosewood scaled version for $18.79 the U.K. store that sells them Handy Niknaks = robbers! want £29.99 - $47 for the G-10 handled version.
The EL04MCT is £31.99 - $50 !!
So you can see that the Exduct etc. prices seem cheap to me even at the raised prices.
I got a few SRM and Enlan/Bee knives from Amazon .co .uk when you could buy them for 6-8 quid (no knives on U.K. ebay and very rare on Amazon U.K.).
I’ve emailed Heinnie Haynes to try to get them to stock Chinese knives but they won’t because they don’t want a backlash from their suppliers.

I agree that they don’t seem the most reliable site.
I only bought once from them, order took a very long time but it arrived, so my experience with them is ok.
Exduct for some dollars more has proven excellent customer service with me replacing a knife I wasn’t happy about!
Nice. I haven’t run into that too much yet, but with thousands of blog photos in circulation, I’m sure it’s happening to me, too. Not much you can do with the watermarks that wouldn’t ruin the pictures, which I won’t do either. My thought is that all you can do is shame them like you just did. I certainly won’t buy from them now.
