like the one in the common 32 led gordon flashlight at harbor freight.that one and its reflector assy works perfect for this project.
the reflector would be nice too.
did a few with round radioshack perfboards but premade for the purpose would be nice.

i thought of doing one up in a double sided board.since all are in parallel the whole face would be solid copper as a heatsink.
if i do it i will release it as open hardware on oshpark.anyone can then order them.
That would be great! Just be sure to not connect the solder pads to the copper plane.
The whole idea is to connect the neg lead to heavy foil as close as possible to the case.so yes the neg side goes directly to the front foil
Yes, I meant to leave isolation on the + lead, with enough room to solder and prevent backflow from contacting the - plane.
Just curious. What’s the intended purpose of this new board? Specifically, why design a board for 5mm Epoxy packaged LEDs?
