Where to solder wires on driver.

So I got a bunch of different drivers and honestly have no idea where to solder the wires. I feel silly but am just not sure. Do I just solder the wires to the bottom board positive in the center and negative on one of those outside parts? Also 2 of my KD boards came with this chunk of soft white junk whats that for?

Yep, the outer circle is negative and the inner is positive.

The white junk goes in between the 2 boards to insulate them electrically.

Does the second board control the modes?

Also Am I supposed to heat sink this board. If so, from where that coil looking thing?

What board is it? It definitely generates some heat the only question is how much. :)

Ive had two of these boards and both were different in that they put out different current and modes were in a different pattern. One has burnt out and the one I have left puts out around 5 amps high, 1 amp low and 4 amps medium. I cut the white stuff up into little strips and pushed it between the boards as best as possible. May I ask what yuor intending to use it on.
