Which 21700 for Lumintop B01 bike light?

Hi, my first post here,

I’ve just ordered a Lumintop B01 bike light, my question is what 21700 battery should I buy for it? Zeroair review says it has some kind of protection built in: Lumintop B01 Bike Flashlight Review - ZeroAir Reviews. Some people on the forums wrote that the build in USB charging charges to 4.2 Volts (I don’t know if that’s bad or not). The Zeroair review has a charging curve attached which looks like properly arriving at 0 Amps at the end.

Do I need a protected cell? As I see they are way more expensive, but if you say that I’d need it for this light then I’m willing to buy it. If not, what should I buy? I’m planning to use it on medium setting and charge using the built in USB port.

I’m in Europe, so I was thinking of ordering something from a European shop, as shipping from China is not really allowed for batteries, or is it? So all in all, which battery do you recommend and from which shop?

I use a Samsung 50E in mine. High capacity, no need for high current or protection.

So this one with flat top would be OK?

Yep. Runs forever on one of those.

I use 50E in my B01 as well. Funny I got the light and planned to use it only on medium but runtime on high is so good I only use high now. 50E is a good cell, runtime with medium will be very very long since it runs in regulation on high for 3.5+ hours.
