Which batteries for ThruNite TN30

I’m a little worried about my 18650 batteries since they’re all laptop pulls and all unprotected.

I haven’t been too worried up till now using them with small zoomies. I’ve been using them on the 2.8 amp XM-L with somewhat caution too but only for very short runs on high.

Now I have this TN30 with 3x LED’s pulling AFAIK ~3A per emitter ? I’m seriously concerned that this is an accident waiting to happen.

So with that all said, which batteries would you recommend for this light ?

They seem to do well….

I would say the best budget batteries for that light would be the protected UR18650FMs from fasttech.

I'm with scaru, the Sanyo 2600mah is a very nice battery.

Thanks Dale and Scaru also thanks for the link

edit Cheers Joe also lol
