Hello I’m new. I have two Panasonic NCR18650B Protected 3400mAh (Green), and want buy Convoy lights. I hear that new Convoy C8 and M2 don;t support this cell. What lights I might buy ??
As far as I know it is only the current batch of Convoy C8’s that can’t take the protected Panasonic cells. You could wait for the next batch to be made (which will accept protected cells) or I’m sure they’d fit if you cut a bit off the tailcap spring.
it’s quite a tight fit in s3, I shortened the spring, because the flahslight was crushing the battery terminals a little bit.
