I ordered this light from JL and it came with firmware version 0135_2023_12_03. When I look at Toykeepers model chart, it lists this as “hank-emisar-2Ch”. And of course, it behaves as a 2 channel light, even though it has 4 of the same emitters (was supposed to be a single channel light). I can work around that by disabling channels in Anduril, but I’m still stuck with 6C to switch between smooth / stepped ramp modes.
I’d much rather use a single channel firmware. However, I don’t know if one exists that is compatible with this relatively new driver. Nor do I know how the driver is configured in this model. Is it using a 2 channel PCB or a single channel PCB? Or does that not matter? I have no clue. Would appreciate any insight from Anduril experts / those knowledgeable in how JL configures this hardware, or Jackson Lee if he reads this.
