Primate:
I watched it… I must be a glutton for punishment after reading your review… ![]()
But While I wouldn’t recommend it, It was marginally ok. Maybe 2 out of 5. It had some interesting gore…if that is one’s thing.
Well, looking at IMDb, some people actually liked the movie, so not everyone agrees with my review. ![]()

This movie is superb.
It’s part horror, though it’s not scary.
It’s also part action, part mystery, and part comedy.
The movie combines many genres together beautifully.
Like it says on IMDb, the aspect ratio is 3:1, which is much wider than just about all other movies.
(For reference, common movie wide screen ratios are 1.85:1 and 2.35:1)
The aspect ratio sometimes makes me feel uneasy watching this movie, which is the point.
There’s a character known simply as “Intriguing Neighbor”, and he is intriguing.
Sigourney Weaver plays a medium-sized role, and she looks amazing (in this film) for her age.
(I think her wrinkles might have been digitally removed, but that’s just a guess.)
The acting in this movie is great.
I enjoyed the music.
The pacing is a bit slow, but the movie is still interesting.
Finally, the movie should not be rated R.
I noticed only one swear word (s***), and the violence is pretty typical for a PG-13 film.
