This movie is okay.
The two previous films are much better.
Most of the action sequences are good, but there aren’t enough of them.
The dramatic scenes are not entertaining on the whole.
The acting is decent or better–it’s tough to tell because the movie is fairly boring.
The music is excellent, except for several times when it’s whiny.
The final battle is the best part of the movie, but it’s only about 35 minutes out of a 3-hour 17-minute movie.
There are many instances when humanoid characters hiss or bark at other humanoid characters, and I didn’t care for that.
I really wanted to like this movie, but it just isn’t all that great.
The graphics and special effects are impressive, though.
We saw it in the theater (Disclosure Day). I think because of Emily Blunt, Steven Spielberg, and the title, we expected more. Had we just gone expecting, I dunno, less, it might’ve been ok.
It was ok. The end was rather disappointing.
I could say the same of Project Hail Mary, although less so. I think I liked it better actually.
well, i saw Odyssey online for free and i lasted until the Cyclops scene was over.
that is when i gave up. it was sloooow with a lot of talk and little action.
and so serious. even the dog was serious. CGI was very evident.
this was the first movie this year that i did not finish.
i hope other people enjoyed it
since the tickets are expensive.

I can’t believe the project got greenlit in the first place.
I was already out after seeing interviews of whuts-her-face going full Rachel Zegler and shiiteing all over Homer and his “lack of the female perspective” in the story.
And she’s majored in literature and outright said she never even read The Odyssey. What a clown…
Then hearing Leguzondo flapping his yap about it made it a hard pass.
Greece should sue all of them the way Egypt did over Cleopatra.
Another gems in the ocean of pulp fiction movies. Enjoy and get carried away by emotions.

I liked Forest Whitaker since “Hill Street Blues” through “Species”, so TCG looks intriguing.
Saw “Witness” ages ago, went through my “I mock you with my ice cream” phase for probably way too long, but barely remember it as it was ages ago.
Dutch films can be… interesting. Loved “Den Skyldige” in the original (EN subs) to really catch the nuances. Vaguely heard of “Spoorloos” but never saw it.

I saw the Extended Cut of this film, which is Part 6 of the series.
This movie is between okay and good.
The acting is excellent for a parody movie.
The music is suitable.
The movie starts out strong and then fizzles out.
The first act is quite entertaining; meanwhile, acts two and three are mostly not that entertaining.
According to ChatGPT, there are about 30 different movies that are parodied, which is impressive.
I recognized about two-thirds of the parodies.
I’ve seen all of the Scary Movie films except Part 5, but it’s been so long since I’ve seen the prequels, I don’t remember them that well.
Apparently the Wayans brothers were only involved with Parts 1, 2, and 6.

I saw the Director’s Cut.
This movie is good.
The acting is excellent, as is the music.
The action sequences are great, but some of them tend to be repetitive.
The dramatic scenes are done well, but the dialogue is unnatural like in Greek plays.
That said, the plot and the script are very good.
The movie is kinda slow overall.
did you see the Jet in Troy?
i think it was a fake, but i am not sure.
anyway…i know sometimes the camera is rolling
and a plane goes over so they stop and start the scene again.
maybe it was filmed, but did not make it into the actual movie.
I didn’t see the jet, but I just read about it online.
Apparently, some specific versions of the film have the jet, and other versions have the jet removed.
The Robo Cop is on again, yay! (And 2 right after.)
Honestly, I’d rather watch The Night Stalker instead which is on opposite it, but it’s on The Svenjoolie Show, which has just gotten completely retarded, and I could actually feel my IQ dropping point by point when watching it.
It used to be just corny, and he’d go over little tidbits about the movie being shown (trivia, background about the actors, etc.), etc., but they extended the runtime to just fill it with even more retardery. Can’t stand it now.
So, it’s Robo instead.
Troy at home with the family and then The Odyssey with everyone, too.
Master of the Universe. It was actually better than I thought it would be. Was pretty funny but probably won’t see again.

How was it?
The story was well portrayed. I think homework was done and it was entertaining. I enjoyed seeing it at the movies for the big screen visuals and sound experience. I look forward to watching it again with the home system.
