Hi there.
Please help me to decide on one of these two cheapo zoomies:
The first one has no modes, right? Any idea which one is the overall better light?
Hi there.
Please help me to decide on one of these two cheapo zoomies:
The first one has no modes, right? Any idea which one is the overall better light?
I like the second one better.
Why?
First one
Out of stock, expect restock in 15 days (sounds like trouble)
It says two modes. I assume that means zoomed, and not zoomed. But they are not clear.
Flashlight color:sliver (I think I’m seeing black)
It does show a battery carrier for possibly using 3AAA batteries
I like the bike mount
see http://www.meritline.com/zoomable-cree-led-flashlight-t6-5-mode—-p-77117.aspx?strcoup=MLCH10UN&dealid=64121 for a 5 mode version
The 5 mode light is on sale today at Best Led Flash Light - MeritLine
Second one
Usually dispatched in 1-3 days
5 actual modes
Color: silver (looks like silver)
I can see from the pictures that the head extends for zoom.

(Lists several zoomies.)
I’ll vote for the second one - SMALL SUN T15 . Even though it got a higher price tag than the Cree T6, you’ll get the delivery in one to three days.
I would get this one. Five modes plus it takes 26650’s if you want really long run times. This light has a nice beam without the rings you will get with your second pick and with modes unlike your first pick. The handle on this light is also nice and grippy. Of course you can still run it with 18650’s or AAA’a and it’s in stock. It’s also only $9.99 and dont’ forget you can use the coupon that is around here someplace.
The light recommended by 18sixfifty is also known as a POPPas S7. It was a POPPas W-878 when I bought it at Manafont.

It’s a nice zoomie, with a big smooth flood.

Thanks. I think I will get this one then. I´m just afraid I can´t attach it to those bike mounts.
