Which one is better? ThruNite Catapult V6 or Emisar D1S?
I know one use 18650 battery vs 26650 and xpl-hi vs XHP35 HI LED but on the field, is it a big difference?

Thrunite is great, but for me it’s the D1s for smaller 18650 tube and 5D emiter choice.

I’d take the V6. More capacity and less sag from the 26650, plus a more ergonomic handle in the 26650 tube (for me anyways.)

When you look at them side by side, they’re both about the same size when looking at their heads.

The V6 can fully charge in 2 hours as well!

There was a coupon to bring the Catapult down to something like $47 a few weeks back, it it still on, what’s the code, think it was on Thrunite’s site.

I’ll definitely pick V6 not only I already have it and i don’t have the emisar. only downside of the V6 is it get pretty hot after few minutes on turbo mode.

I think a fair comparison for the V6 is the Lumintop ODL20C.

I have both. If I had to pick one, I’d say the V6. That doesn’t take away my love for the D1S.

I Have the CATvn V6 and Love it for many reasons that have already been mentioned.

Mine has a little more out put than Thrunites specs. They seem to be a little low[good for us] and the mod added a little extra output,even w/ NW! :+1:

The stock Cat V6 is a great little light. :+1:

Cat V6 tuned up = kick ass little light. :cowboy_hat_face:

Remove R024 resistor replace with R020 and on the supplied Thrunite battery I got 2.36amps at the stock emitter.

Now add 20awg leads, and run a Liitokala black/gold 26650 reflow a high bin E2-1C 35 HI for a bit more kick ass’ness! :wink:
