Which one of these do I want to keep for my EDC?

Fitorch P20R or the BLF A6 XPL?

Or am I not comparing apples and apples?

This is where EDC rotation comes in and remember, two is one, one is none. Five, seven, nine, ninety, counts as one too around here

I second this

Welcome to BLF opusthe2nd! :+1:

I do not own any of the lights mentioned, but I can try to give a more or less theoretical answer!
BLF A6 has more modes, highest and lowest outputs, is very “moddable” (emitter, driver, …), more configurable (modes), and can be used with a 18350 tube to make it shorter.
Fitorch P20R has one advantage as it has in-built charging, so you can power it up with a power-bank, as example! Also, due to A6 voltage sag (on Turbo), maybe Fitorch can deliver a more stable higher output for a longer period of time.

BUT, I guess it all depends on your real need of the flashlight. Longer or shorter runtime periods, Higher or Lower outputs needed, among others.
Put this on your “balance” and perhaps you will find the right answer  All and all, both lights seem to be great :+1:

In the end, and going back to CRX saying: get the BLF A6 with 18650 and 18350 tubes to use it in the pocket, and get the Fitorch for your backpack/car/house…

There is no such thing as “too many flashlights” :sunglasses:

Ok, which one of you wants to call my wife???

Astrolux S1 same as Blf A6 but smal tube inkluded.

Yes you will need to also start receiving a lot of “gifts”, “winning” flashlight related stuff, hiding purchase evidence and buy more shoes, meals out & flowers

Eheh, that’s family business, I won’t get into it
Already have mom saying “Is that a new flashlight? :expressionless: ” and the girlfriend saying “Is that a new flashlight? ” !

Though, I guess you should prepare her to see the lights…the batteries, the chargers, the holsters, the tools to mod them and lots of pieces around the house

The best thing is to offer her a flashlight, she’ll like it and she’ll notice how useful they are
If you can’t win them, make them join you :sunglasses:

I’m doomed!

At least you’ll have some lights to guide you through that darkness :smiling_imp:

I’d warn you to keep both lights and, slowly, carefully, back away from this forum, but I’m not going to waste the effort.
You’ll be back. Sooner or later, but you’ll be back.

Do you already them ?
If you don’t and are considering a 55$ fitorch p20R than you might want to be comparing it to a sofirn sp31 which can be had for like 20$ and has a moon mode albeit some odd UI but a great tint and almost the same light less a USB rechargable thats pretty worthless .

The BLF A6 or almost any custom light made by forum members will beat the life out of the fitorch and the A6 comes in at almost a third the price .Bangood was selling it for 18$ and including a 30Q samsung battery as a bonus …
Toykeepers user interface make this a superb light .
*… Sorry your question sounded like you already owned both lights.

Price isnt the concern. Just asking generally which was the better light. A list of details isnt needed, just a general question.

“USB recharge worthless”……hmmmm
