WOWTAC A4 , The first version. 2x18650, slim, light, and a great thrower at a good price.
Supposedly there was going to be a warmer version but that never happened.
Got replaced by the V2 version. A stubby 1x26650 version that gets so hot on turbo and high that is is suitable for branding cattle.
Super Tiger COB headlamp.
I picked up 4 before they “improved” it.
The best 150ish Lumens I have ever stuck on my head. Just an awesome smooth beam pattern.
Perfect for arms length work. And it was like $18 for the light, charger, and a good protected 2000MAh battery.
The Tacklife LFL3A, if it could come out again at the price I paid - like $10?
Built like a tank. You could beat a Surefire into a shapeless lump of metal with one of these.
Throws like crazy. Needed a warmer tint. But still great for the price.
I should have picked up a bunch for gifts before they went AWOL.
All the Best,
Jeff
Assuming you mean the BLF-348, there is still the SF-348 is available on Fasttech with an XPG emitter. Its quite easy to reflow it with a 219b, turning it into a BLF-348!
Noctigon Meteor is still my favorite soda can light. Would love to see Hank bring it back with a better UI and new emitter options. I don’t consider the D18 a true successor because of its lack of boost driver, worse runtime and (IMO) inferior beam pattern.
Yes, a true enduring classic. Please say what a better UI looks like, as well as what a better beam pattern looks like. What emitters would be best?
I still vividly recall all of the large amounts excitement on the Russian flashlight forum when the Meteor was being developed and readied for release.
