Which Out Of Production Flashlight(s) Should Be Resurrected?

Nitecore MT22C for rotary control. Thorfire VG series/Zanflare F1 for having a memorised constant frequency strobe.

I want a BLF D80 with an XHP70 emitter.

I know it won't be very throwy, but it'll output a lot of lumens!

EDIT:

I don't know if the D80 is out of production, but if it had an XHP70, I would consider it "resurrected."

Lots of good choices on this list. Magnetic/rotary switches are a common theme already.

Here, I’m going to just call out one of my favorite old lights I never got to buy and like purely from an aesthetic and ergo perspective.

Original 47s 123 Turbo in matte Ti.

Liteflux LF2XT, LF3XT and LF5XT.

LRI Photon ReX

Jetbeam TCR1

Surefire T1A

Cool topic.

OMG Deft X.

Arc Mania X6.

Surefire’s E1E and the T1A.

Malkoff’s Wildcat V5 with the MT-G2 Led and the M30w dropin.

Surefire G2 Nitrolon

Surefire E1e
Sunwayman V10r

Emisar D1. ArtieT59’s updated ones with backlit switches and new LED’s and drivers are fantastic, but eventually we’ll run out of old D1’s for him to modify!

I like the classic flashlight style of the fenix TK40, if it was still available with an updated emitter like SBT90.2 i would buy one right away

Oh, that is nice looking. Reminds me of the lumintop X9L.

Liteflux lights
Nitecore smart PD lights
With current LEDs of course

For the same reasons I would like to nominate the Surefire C2 Centurion:

I also wouldn’t mind having Solarforce returning as a brand…

xtar wk42 - nice 16340 light

Another vote for the sunwayman rotary models and the nitecore piston drive models. Lights I really wish I had held onto

+1 K40M MT-G2 !

Thorfire VG10
Nitecore MH20/MH20GT in NW
Airpro DC7 with ’351s
Solarforce L2M and similar
Orcatorch EA01
Sofirn SC31
Tacklife whatever (as mentioned)

Probably a bunch more as I think of ’em.

I sold two of these, what did you find great about it?

DQG Tiny AA (one of the smallest, if not the smallest, 1xAA flashlight)

Olight S1A Baton

Fasttech still sells the DQG tiny AA

If the Original poster means lights worthy of modding and bringing up to date .I'm going to say my BLF Mr. Lite AA /14500's got much much better with a simple emitter swap. One got a xpg-2 4A and the other a 5000K nichia 219c 83 cri . With a 14500 they are both very bright and have lovely tint
