Was looking at the LUM5-90 but any other recommendations are welcome.
Also needed is a recommended place to buy them.
Thanks.

Depends how much you want to spend.
Phoenix or Optiforms have some pretty large electroformed reflectors up to 36” big but those cost a few thousand dollars.
oh well , looks like Ill just get some LUM then. Thanks
Convoy sells a smooth reflector for the L6… Possibly not the best option and smaller then what you’re looking for.
Any idea how that compares to the LUM5-90?
Frankly i don’t know much on that matter… I just noticed the smooth reflector for the L6.
That said, those large die emitters are not well suited for narrow beams anyway, whatever the reflector. Not mentioning the ‘donut hole’ artifact seen on the XHP70 - less so on the 70.2, that actually needs some kind of orange peel to blur things out at the expense of a clean beam.
I’m sure some expert here will provide some better advise. ![]()
It’s much smaller. It will be more floody.
Kaidomain has a large 86mm smooth reflector which is probably good.
The BLF GT reflector would of course be even better.
The BLF GT reflectors look like what I’m after, I cant see where to buy it though?
I’m after 10-12 of them
Ask Lumintop, but you probably will need to buy the finished light.

Well I’m not buying 10 lights just for their reflectors!

Lumintop doesn’t have an history of providing spare parts for their lights… and they already have trouble getting these huge reflectors made for the GT. Maybe if you get in touch with Texas_Ace or Neal, you may place a special order only for a dozen reflectors. It does not hurt to try.
Would something like this work for a narrow beam with the xhp70.2 or if I have to, a xhp35HI ?

Parabolic Reflector — StratusLEDs
Not that I know anything, but it looks good to me! I’m going to bookmark that for future reference myself!
Edit: If you follow the link to Amazon, it is listed there as a 20 degree beam. I don’t know if that’s a tight enough spot for what you’re looking for. It definitely won’t make a “thrower” but it will make a nice, usable beam in my opinion.
I saw that about the 20 deg, was wondering if it was only rated that way when used with one of those giant 100 watt leds.
Couple of things…
Typically the angle of emission on a reflector is a half angle, so if 20 degrees is listed then output will be 40 degrees… pretty floody.
Illuminations Machines sells their reflectors in sets of 5, the Lum 5/90 is diamond faceted so you won’t see a donut hole but it won’t be a purely spot style output either. These are a formed reflector, on the thin side with a lip at the top, easily shaped or resized with a pair of scissors. The aperture of the Lum 5/90 fits around a 20 mm SinkPAD star and is held down by the star’s mounting screws.
Hope that’s helpful…
Edit: oh yeah, on the Lum 5/90 that means a 5 degree half angle (10 degree final output, pretty nice but with spill) and 90 mm diameter. I like this pretty well with the 70.2, have this pairing in an Olight SR90 Intimidator
Edit II: The Lum 5/90’s come out to around $5 each, a little more
Edit III: Slow on the uptake, no coffee yet as the household is sleeping… just realized that 10 Lum 5/90’s bolted to an aluminum plate wit 5S/5P set-up from a 12V car battery could easily be a virtual stadium light making upwards of 90,000 lumens! ![]()
