Which simple, secure and reliabe 2bar / 4bar charger?

Hello everyone,

I am just starting to get into the 18650 stuff and will order 2x protected 18650 for my two flashlight.
Now I will also need a charger for those. Can anyone recommend me some simple but effective and secure/reliable chargers?

- As I only have 2x 18650 a 2bar charger would be enough. But if a 4bar charger is really much better and not much more expensive, then 4bar is fine too :slight_smile:

- I would love to see the remaining charging time

- I wished it would choose all settings and modes automatically as I am quite a newbie with this topic

- Would be nice if it would be future proof (support many different battery types)

  • Maybe a capacity display would be nice too (to test how good the battery still is?). But maybe this can be easily done with a multimeter too?

There are all kinds of chargers out there. The new Xtar VP4 Plus Dragon, Liitokala Lii 500, Opus BT-3100, etc.

I own several different ones, but the VC2 Plus is my primary.

Hm I just made a shot at the BT-3100 on gearbest.
Guess it can do everything that the ones you mentioned can do as well?

While I don’t personally own the BT-3100, I know several members here swear by it. Seems to be full featured, though I don’t know if it has a “time remaining” display. Most don’t, though my VC2 does. Perhaps that’s because it’s hard to accurately estimate (the one on the VC2 isn’t terribly accurate)

My xtar vc2 is excellent.
