From your experience, could you guys tell me which xhp70.2 gave you the coolest tint.
From all the talks about the 70.2 in the blf gt, got me very interested.
Well, the coolest one before shaving will get you the coolest CCT after shaving. So really just need to search around. The highest you will be able to find is probably 6500K.

Cft 90 is great but I think that better suits the tn42. For a light as big as the blfgt, 9000 lumens seems to fit better than 5000 lumens. Plus the distance and hot spot size the xhp70 gives is fantastic.
FWIW- I give my P2 1A’s a “very close” shave, they end up around 5500-5700k. Mind you, this is only a guess as I have no way of actually measuring. My uncalibrated eye is usually pretty close when comparing to known sources.

If you had BLF GT,plus TN42 and Astrolux MF-04,and wanted to upgrade,which of them would keep original or making minor changes,and in which you would put a 70.2 or a CFT-90?
5500-5700k is perfectly fine. Others told me they were gettting very warm results. Like 4000-4500k.

The closer you shave, the warmer it will become and the better the performance (luminance) will be, that you get. Still though, a higher CCT emitter will lead to a higher CCT after shaving. So I think you should just get a 6500K emitter and shave it as closely as possible.
With ugly you probably mean the tint, not the CCT. The tint after shaving/dedoming can also be influenced by which LED is chosen. You want a tint below the BBL for this. This increases the chances of not getting a greenish/yellowish tint afterwards.
CCT = correlated color temperature (basically the ratio of blue to red light in the spectrum)
It tells you a what temperature an ideal black body radiotor would have to be to emit this kind of white light. (Hotter = more blue content)
BBL = black body radiator line
In many LED datasheets you will find a XY-graph with the different tints Bins of that specific LED plotted on it. Each tint Bin shoes you the CCT range of that Bin and where it is in relation to the BBL. The “tint” is basically the discoloration of white light. The BBL is a horizontal line that goes through the middle of these graphs. Any point on this line is white light of a specific CCT without any “tint” (no green, no yellow, no pink, etc.).
Dedoming/shaving a LED causes it’s tint to become more greenish-yellowish and lowers the CCT a bit (usually by about 500-1000K). So to get a LED that will be close to the BBL after de-doming/shaving it will need to be below it beforehand.
