Who can relate?

These mean a lot to me.

I don’t get it.

Im going deep on this one. I think of it as being the lone, bright spot amongst a bunch of mindless others.

True

Yeah - Me too, 'neither. :face_with_spiral_eyes:

I feel like Columbo in that art gallery, where he’s puzzled by all the art on display, asks the curator about them and gets told how art is personal, etc.

Then he points to this piece hanging on the wall and asks about it, and the curator explains, “That’s a ventilation grating.”.

Probably was “Suitable For Framing”, with Ross Martin as The Bad Man.

There are dozens of us

I am surprised no one got it. The picture is the galaxy. A sun surrounded by eight planets.

Was obvious to me.

Solar system? I think the galaxy has a few more points of intetest.

Maybe. I still don’t get it. But I wonder if @LYB will clarify.

Nah, all the planets would be crashing into each other like bumper-cars. They’re all in the same orbit.

You guys are all assuming that galaxies are round or elliptical. Can be square?

No they can’t… it is physics.

You do know this entire thread including the original post was a joke. Right?

Hypothetically, it’s possible for a galaxy to appear square. After all, we look at an atom and assume that at no time do the electrons align that they form some tangent/intersect to the walls/edges of a perfect cube, but it’s possible. It might not look like a cube, but you might be able to draw a cube that has all the electrons touching some surface of said cube.

That is a bit esoteric.. And so is this! But, not hypothetically, a galaxy is not an Atom. :japanese_ogre: The forces that interact to keep each in their respective configurations are quite different.
But I did find this:

They say that it could be perspective… and we see it as it was 70 million years ago. So Newtonian Physics could well have “fixed” it by now. Even then, this thing is not a cube, but more of a rounded rectangle. Or so it appears.

Also, gravitational lensing and other things lol. Think “fun house” mirrors

Overanalysis is the enemy of intuition…the OP stated that “this means a lot to me”. It is, indeed, a lot of stars.

The key is what he said: “mean a lot to me.”

This is a hidden message, religious in nature, i.e. someone’s religion means a lot to them.

This person is seeking help that is spiritual in nature and he is looking to the heavens and the stars, planetary bodies to get it.

It’s “who can relate?”, so clearly it’s about trying to find long lost relatives to that great swami, Emti Jeetu.
