Who owns a 3D cell battery Led Maglite?
And so yes, how bright is it, and does it throws far?
I want buy one, if they are really good.
Do they come close to the Fenix TK75 brightness and throw?

I have one, and it is ok. Around 130 lumens and 20kcd, the TK75 on the other hand is 2600 lumens and 80kcd. So the TK75 will throw further and is much brighter.
the maglite is a good budget light, but comparing the maglite to the tk75 is like comparing a golf cart to a Lamborghini. While both lights can throw pretty good for that they are, the mag is only around 130lumens, while the 75 does around 2600-3000. completely different lights. and the price reflects it
it throws reasonably well, but it’s greatest asset, I believe is the run time, 80 hours on 3 Alkalines. That means you can take it for a weekend and not have to worry about running it down EVEN if you leave it turned on the entire time! (scaru knows all about that)
Friend, the two lights are worlds and worlds apart in brightness—so much so that it needs emphasizing again. If you mean the NEW 3D XP-E Mag, then yes, 130 lumens and good throw. The first drop-in LED Mag was 84 lumens in a 3D Mag. It’s performance is not quite as good.
TK75 is 2600+ lumens. So no comparison AT ALL.
Output is similar.
If you bundle 20 of them together....
Besides those familiar with high powered LED’s, Ive never seen anyone not be completely wowed by the newer LED Rebel reflectored mag 2D and 3D flashlights. For something that draws only about .750 mah, they pack a punch and last forever on a set of alkalines. Once a year they go on sale for $15 at Lowes.
Still waiting for our Canadian Lowes to drop the price to $15, but as usual they didn’t get the memo ![]()
Maglites are fun, I don’t think any of mine are stock though
my most powerful MagLite a Varapower 2000k doesn’t throw like a TK75 either
(would if I had a turbo head) and its 2200 lumens and probably 60k lux
(not budget light anymore)
Lambda lights are an incredible bang for the back.
My Varapower Hydra 3 x XML:

All this aside, I cant think of a flashlight that represents a better value than a stock LED maglite. They are still a complete steal at $30.
The hydra looks gorgeous
