This is just an annoyance, but whenever I turn the light on when on high, it flashes three times…or if I change the mode from low to high. My ITP C7 does that, but only when ramping to the max or minimum. This light doesn’t ramp, so I don’t know why it does this or if anything can be done about it. It’s a phenomenal light in all other respects…but this is so annoying. Any thoughts?
My Balder does that with a sh1tty cell, what are you using? T30 hasn't done it, but I have a good cell in it.
I’ve used a TF flame and a Sanyo 2600, so fairly decent batteries. I’ll try some others in that case, thanks.
EDIT: just tried a Himax 2600 as well, same thing. It flashes four times, not three…not that it matters. Crap, I suppose I’ll have to contact Thrunite in that case…unless someone else has an idea.
I'll try the T30 with my crappy UF 3000's and let you know how it goes.
Dave, checked with several cells, no issues. I agree with you, probably time to contact Thrunite CS.
Thanks for taking the time…not the answer I wanted, but I would like to get this straightened out. It’s such a great light with the lowest of lows.
That’s what I would do.
Hopefully all goes well.
Have you tried tightening the heatsink to the head? Because of the way they designed the head the heatsink can come loose and this can cause weirdness like you’ve been experiencing.
Thanks for the idea. I’m now on a week long holiday, and left the T30 at home…I’ll try it when I get back.
Because it gets off on it.
I’m…pretty sure that’s it…
