Why mAh doesn't tell the whole story -- or why battery testing helps... or why buy AW 16340 :)

I only ever use quality primary 123a’s, far greater capacity and safety.

1500mAh No Problemo. Buy em bulk.

I see you chose your user name wisely.

somewhat complimentary or just plain backhand insulting. It sounds like the third one. So to clarify, which is it?

Seeing that you posted #16 in this thread as a perceived endorsement of the brand since you call them ‘genuine’, the curt remark is a titch vague on true intent.

Now my true intent behind my comments is that in relation to Costco’s price it’s IMO a great batt for the buck and pretty much unbeatable vs what I’ve seen they’re going for out there on Amazon, etc.

BTW, I’m not saying they’re the best NiMh batt. I’m aware there are better ones capacity-wise. I’m also not convinced they’re worth it.

Lighten up dooood, I was just pointing out your contradictory posts. Perhaps I should have posted a

The post #16 you refer to, I’ve missed your point entirely, I was reassuring the OP not to be put off by the different packing, I’m an Eneloop fan, and have been using them since they were introduced to the world in 2006.

again in context. They’re not contradictory whatsoever. I was playing around with our friend regarding him trying to convince me Eneloops are crap compared to Imedions. Of course I don’t think they’re crap. That’s obvious. He doesn’t either. He clarified where he’s coming from. I can see the rationale behind his logic even if I don’t entirely agree with it as to comparitive gain per $$.

“Perhaps I should have posted a :)” Yeah, that would’ve helped. It came across like Eneloops suck and I’m a real-life lunatic. However I don’t disagree you’re wrong there entirely either else why ITH would anyone be buying these flashlights in droves? We’re cool. Your’e prolly a little nutz too.

Btw, you’re absolutely literally right. I should lose a few lbs.

Just send me all your 16340 lights

Not a very cost effective solution :

@ old4570 and any other Aussies

If you are looking for a good local source for quality Li-Ion cells contact ebay seller supersports600. Yass is great to deal with & his mobile number is listed in case you don't have an ebay account.

I have bought 18650s 14500s & 16340s from him & I know of others who speak highly of his products & service.

Hope this helps.
