Will (3) protected NCR18650B's fit the TR-3T6?

Apologies for the newb question but all this tech stuff rattles my atrophied brain.

I bought unproteced NCR18650’s flat top and discovered they do not work in the 3T6. So I asked to exchange for button tops, which was granted. As I read more into the battery tech, I realized that I’d much rather have protected batteries, especially that I’m using the Nitecore I4 charger.

I’m not into moding these flashlights; I just want to use em as my job requires.

On my 3T6 I had to remove the brass plunger in the tailcap to free up enough room for the protected cells to fit. Just unscrew the tailcap retaining ring, remove the plunger, reinstall.
