will a tenergy protected 18650 handle a 2.8a driver?

I’ve been thinking about replacing the driver in my uniquefire c10 with XML t6. I think it is underdriven because it only with throw as far (with just more spill) as my sf l2 driven at 1.4a with an xr-e. I want to put in a 105c circuit board if my tenergy’s will handle the current.

The tenergy protected will handle any thing you can throw at them they are very strong imho and always give higher numbers..S they have lower internal resistance and will toss out the amperage as well as any sanyo or panny I have (cept the LMRs)

That’s good to know. I have no way of measuring battery performance so I just have to take people’s word for it on what works and what doesn’t. Knowing now that my batteries are not the issue with that light I’m assuming that the circuit board is just not very big in terms of output. The circuit board in this light is pretty cheap and has no 7135 chips in it. I bought the light off of fleabay so I’m assuming that it was made the cheap components. Looks like I need to put a 105c circuit board in it.

Thanks
