Sure, it just needs power. You’ll have to find something with the same footprint and include some resistors for sink identification.

How are your soldering skills?

For quick and dirty solution, I use cheap USB-C to Micro adapters from AliExpress for the gadgets I’ve got that use μUSB…

Ive got good soldering skills and i would like to upgrade the micro usb to ubs-c if its possible.
