Apologies if this has been covered before.
I really do lament what Lumintop have done to the FW3A, as it honestly is my favourite EDC even compared to my D4V2. I have a couple of them, luckily before the switched the drivers around. I’d love to improve them and get the CC Lume1 drivers installed, and one for my FW4A too. Plus if I could get hold of the drivers, I’d buy one or two other FW3A’s, maybe a copper and a brass. Stainless Steel too if I could find one! Maybe even an FW1A?
Is there any news on if or when the Lume1 driver will come back? I stupidly put off buying some from Nealsgadgets and now they’re all gone. I know they’ve had issues with chip shortages, but I had hoped we’d see a return of the Lume1 for the FW series. If not, then I probably won’t be getting any more FW’s unless they’re guaranteed to have the FET+7+1.
