I’m looking for some 10 or 12 guage wire to make some short leads for checking amps. I’m thinking radio shack, checked out their site, and it looks to be on the spool only. Do you know if I can get shorter pieces there or somewhere else, Home Depot, or similar store where I can pick it up while I’m out tomorrow. Thanks. Mike
Home depot / lowes sell wire by the foot.
That’s probably your best choice. You can probably get the banana plugs there too.
Depending on your needs if you need flexibility check out your local Hobby Store. They’ll carry short segments of Deans Wet Noodle wire. Absolutely the most flexible wire you can buy. I make my leads out of it and it certainly makes a big difference in the usability of my leads.
