Wireless controlled driver

A project requires a wireless means of changing modes, and turning the led on and off.

Are there options for this out there for BlueTooth, or 443/886?

4sevens built some lights with bluetooth capability.

Gotta be an actual flashlight? Or just A Light?

Simple answer, gut a set of “fairy lights” or RGB striplights and use the remote and receiver to hacque together what you want (most have simple on/off + brightness).

Not so simple answer, grab some similar BT-controlled lights, and gut away. (BT-controlled lightbulb, nightlight, etc.)

Pain in the ass answer, roll yer own with an Arduoni or even a Pi0W.

(Wow, actually run Linux to turn an LED on/off…)

It doesn’t have to be a flashlight at all, just a means to have wireless.
The battery and the actual light (emitter/reflector) won’t be in one body for this project, so maybe a driver with eswitch can be moded to work.
So far the ‘hard route’ would be using a rfm69 chip with a pic, but this requires me to make the board, and use <0402 smd’s to get the remote to an acceptable size.

The ideal would be if there was something out there that one could just lego together.

Lupine got a remote for their lights as an example that uses bluetooth:

Many of those fairy lights remotes uses ir, and it’s super unreliable.
Imagine going into programming mode with such a remote …
