Wiring help

I received a motion sensor for outdoor lights but there were no wiring instructions in the box. The Ebay listing did have wiring instructions but they are a little weird.

Connection:
Blue color: Nullin (neutral)
Brown Color: Live wire
Red: Ground cable
Blue and brown input power
Blue and red connect load (lamps)

Looks like to me the Red is Hot on the output side even though it is also listed as Ground cable? Thats my take anyway. What do you think?

AC power. 3 wires . Blue, Brown, Red.

MAYBE wire from the switch goes to brown, red goes to lights + and blue would be neutral. Still why they say that red would be ground. Just like you said, have you measured those wires with multimeter yet?

Do you have pic or maybe link to that sensor?

That’s my guess too. Besides, it is all plastic so no ground anyway. Probably a translation thing. The listing wouldn’t help you except what I copied and pasted. I’m going for it.

I have seen a few Chinese appliances with Blue as live.

It works. Blue was neutral. Red was output hot. Brown was input hot. No UL listing or any markings for that matter. Hope it’s safe.
