Withdrawn since my listing became a side show
That might be a hard sell since you can get a brand new one for $41:
I'm only commenting here because I personally have had such a statement made in one of my sales thread and it pissed me off. Seems people could have a little courtesy, and instead, PM the seller PRIVATELY instead of "crapping" in their sales thread.
Sorry Cajun72. Good luck with the future sale. And Happy New Year !
Rant over.
I have since apologized to Cajun72, and while I understand it might have been a little more courteous to PM information like that first, I would hardly call my comment “crapping” in the sales thread. This is a forum and though selling items is a part of it, sharing information is the main purpose for this place. I don’t believe Cajun72 was trying to swindle anyone. But if I was in the market for that particular flashlight and didn’t know the current price, I would have appreciated another member chiming in give an update, which was precisely the reason why I even bothered to post it; to inform. I’m sorry if my post offended some of you, I just thought I was being helpful.
+1
If I see a sales price on BLF of a used light that is hardly under the current retail price, I think the seller would like to know that, and also the occasional ignorant buyer. I'm aware when I am on Ebay that I have to watch out for overpricing, but here on BLF I'm more prepared to assume that the seller knows what is a reasonable price to ask, and thus may not check things out first.
I am not a moderator nor do I pretend to be one. MY POINT is that the appropriate way to respond when you think an item is priced too high, is to PM THE SELLER and let him know PRIVATELY....just look now what has happened to this sales thread started by Cajun72. It's over. And again, "crapping in a thread" is the term used when such comments result in a ruined sales thread.

Can’t agree more, take your issues with sellers to PM.
