Would you please sponsor me in a walk to help find a cure for blindness?

Hello everyone. I sent a PM to sb56637 and asked about this before I made a post and I was told that I could make this post. I do not want anyone here in this great forum to think I am spamming the forum. :)

As some of you know, I was born legally blind in both eyes and I have Optic Atrophy. There is no cure as of yet and there is nothing man can do about it. To help find a cure, I am going to walk in a 5k event to raise funds to help find a cure. I am asking that you partner with me on this as finding a cure for poor eyesite is something that means a lot to me. Thank you so much for anything that you can do to help out. :)

I'd certainly sponsor you but my bank's computers often don't want to send money to US charities. And they don't to this one either. So if you PM me your paypal address and I'll send you a donation.

Someone from this site made a $25 donation to my effort for my walk for blindness. Whoever you are, thank you from the bottom of my heart. They left no name. I am very grateful and am so excited to be a part of this first annual walk in my local area to find a cure for blindness. :)

I agree with the others, with the fact that this is a multi-national forum, PayPal would be the only way for some of the members to contribute. Then you can transfer the money to VisionWalk.
