Wrist watches. Post pics, if you EDC one!

I don’t do a lot of watch shots because it’s usually on my wrist. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

This is a general EDC shot from a few days ago. I’m usually either wearing this A-2S or one of a few of their lighter DX3 line.

Was running 30 sec fast, during my ham-fisted attempt to adjust it, I screwed up the spring on the balance wheel - DOH! Doesn’t look like too expensive a mistake, new movements are quite affordable, I might even try just replacing the balance wheel and spring as they appear to be available separately.

I was looking at the Steeldive SD1953 that @G0OSE has above , and the SD1957 ‘No Time To Die’ Omega Seamaster homage caught my eye. This ‘yellow is the new orange that was the new black’ thing I have going on is crazy. I liked the ,53 a lot but couldn’t like the date lens.

The watch is a fattie and like the SD1970 doesn’t sit nicely on a NATO. Ordered about 5 quick release NATO (2 piece), a couple of Bartons too. Luckily my main users are all 20mm lug so I can swap about.

Oh dear, it’s worse than I thought, I hadn’t even had a beer! I can see the next thing being more grey or blue G10 and denim micarta handles.

Annoying!

Shame, hopefully you can sort it. Nice, clean looker that.

Hmm, looks nice on the Bond NATO. Tell me when you’re bored, I love both the knife and the watch at the moment. :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Nice on this 2 piece NATO. Acebeam arrived today too :+1:

Nice, black on black.

I ordered some accessories, and once they arrived, I realized that I needed to order a 22mm mesh band. :man_facepalming:
The mesh band arrived today (from China), so I am wearing this watch for the first time.
The watch has so many functions it can be overwhelming.
I just figured out how to set alarms.
Honestly, this watch is probably too complicated for many people, especially some of the elderly, but I’ll figure it out. :+1:

It’s a thing of beauty. Best negative display yet.

My biggest complaint about the Casio GBD 200-1…
When adjusting the timer length or the alarm clock time, you cannot just hold down the FWD or REV buttons.
You have to press those buttons over and over again.
If I’m adjusting the timer from 2 minutes to 32 minutes or back from 32 minutes to 2 minutes, something that I do twice a day, I have to press FWD or REV thirty times in a row.
The Casio GD-350 does not have that annoying flaw.

Allow me to repost :slightly_smiling_face:. I have others but like this one best. My father bought it about the time I was born. Refurbished and tuned up by Omega, here with copper D4V2 w/ Nichia E21a. The Nichia Emisar was one of the first lights I bought after having found Budgetlight.

Nowadays I EDC Apple Watch 10 for weather/text/email check, exercise & health monitor.

This one I used to wear a lot before my retirement because co-workers seemed to like it. I liked it because the large day date font makes it more legible to my presbyopic (aka ageing :slightly_smiling_face:) eyes. I replaced the original metal band with Nato, and even then it is such a heavy watch.
