I don’t EDC a watch, I’m not that sofistikated and edyookated, but I do wear a wrist watch:
It’s a cheap German brand, with a Swiss quartz movement for accuracy and a sapphire crystal for durability. It has many Chinese parts.
I wore an Apple watch, but after two were replaced under warranty after falling part, I sold the third unused on eBay. I bought a Scanwatch, it too fell apart and was replaced under warranty. The replacement was sold on eBay. Hence I now wear a cheap but functional wrist watch.
I can’t wear posh watches, I feel self conscious, and I worry about damaging them. It’s curious that the number one brands here are Seiko, Casio, Rolex and Omega. No IWC, Glashütte, Zenith etc.
Nice looking watch. I checked on the brand. Their pricing is not what I call cheap… but I suppose that is relative…
I have a few of the number one brand watches, but still have an IWC on my bucketlist. When I started working decades ago (and no chain-and-ball yet) I saw one advertised for 2 weeks of salary. Today they start at 2 month!
