WTB - A couple of feet of 26 AWG and 28 AWG (red and black) SILICONE - U.S.

Hi,

I’m starting to feel like “Blimpy” nowadays :(…

Does anyone have some 26 AWG and/or 28 AWG silicone wire, with high temp insulation that won’t melt when soldering, and in the U.S., that would be willing to sell a couple of feet of each to me?

If so, please PM me with price and shipping cost?

Thanks,
Jim

Edit: I just realized (DUH :() that I didn’t specify SILICONE wire in the subject. Also, FYI, per my post, I’ve ordered some from servocity, per Moderator’s suggestion, and will post back on how it is when I receive it.

Thanks,
Jim

You might try here.

Never ordered from them, look at the middle of the page under Ultra-Flexible High Amp Battery Wire.

PM sent…

Blimpy?

Yes, the “Blimpy” character from the old “Popeye” cartoon series :). He was always bumming quarters “to buy a hamburger” and said he’d “pay you back next Tuesday” or something like that :).

Jim

Thanks (again), I’ll take a look.

Jim

This eBay seller is also a member of CPF has good prices on assorted wires, have bought from him several times with no problems

Alex,

Thanks for the link. FYI, I messed up the subject of the original post, but have corrected it. My apologies to you and everybody else :(…

Jim

Blimpy! Thats exactly what popped to mind.
Hamburger

Wasn’t his name Wimpy?

OOPS…. Yes, it was “Wimpy” :)…. Guess that I’m getting the hungries, and got “Blimpy”, like the sandwich shop, on my brain :)!

We have Wimpy’s Diner here in Ontario (don’t think it’s nationwide).
Big juicy burgers. Burger and fries is one of my vices.
Well, I guess the lunch venue is now decided…

My last wire order was from buddyrc.com - prices seem decent and delivery was quick, 200C rated, good quality. Someone on BLF first recommended them.

Hint, hint, I think it was me.
They do carry several different sizes of good quality silicone wire and are very good to deal with. But they don’t carry 26 or 28AWG lose silicone wire that I’am aware of. A call might reveal a different story. It would be good to know if they did carry smaller silicone wire.

It might’ve been me passing the suggestion along from someone else :). The wire is good, but the problem is they don’t have anything smaller than 22AWG.

+1 Quality wire, good pricing and quick shipping.
