I’ve got a price of $525 from a seller in China which seems a very good price, and they’ve sent me a paypal invoice so i’ve got buyer’s protection if anything goes wrong.Was wondering if i could beat that price here but i don’t this that’s possible.
Does that include shipping, customs and VAT?
The price is all inclusive, shipping is $80 using DHL express, for customs declaration we agreed that they would value it at £20 and regarding VAT there is nothing to pay for goods declared at £20 obviously.
On a sale in my country is about 500EUR
They are official distributor of Imalent for Bulgaria. Why not try to contact with them. It is better to buy something from EU compared to no name Chinese seller?
Does that mean you get £20 if things go wrong? AKA if nothing appears at your doorstep?

As the goods are valued at less than £39 i don’t pay VAT and if nothing appears on my doorstep i am covered by Paypal buyer’s protetion, so it seems a win-win situation.
They seem reputable and flash lights is not what they specialize in, they just seem to have them in their inventory.

They won’t if they open the package up (which they will not do, unless they really see it as suspicious through an xray machine) and find an invoice (although there will be no invoice in reality) and also find it’s an imalent MS18 and if coincidentally the person opening the package is a flash light enthusiast and realizes its worth more and if they contact Imalent themselves and ask for the accounting breakdown of this specific product.

Yes they do! They see a parcel shipped by DHL for $80 and think: by Jove, that must be a £20 trinket. :person_facepalming:
In my country customs hold most of my flashlight in the end of 2020. And that was some convoy host and Skilhunt for about 35$. They know that the declared prices on packages from China is not real, and for cutom clearance I need to provide Aliexpress invoice and prove from my bank account for money transaction.
The price of $80 is decided by DHL due to the weight of the package (as its quite heavy) and has no relation to the value of the product.
The Bulgarian customs were perhaps trying to maximize their tax revenue by seizing any inboung packages they can, in reality even if you had changed the figures on your bank statement and the aliexpress invoice they would not actually go to Aliexpress and your bank to check if you are lying.

Just want to also add that the 5 year warranty is with Imalent and not the reseller and is also printed on the box of the MS18, so it seems that in the (unfortunate) event that something goes wrong within that time frame, we can contact Imalent directly regardless of who we bought the product from.
