WTH, is this the doomsday! (Fenix selling UltraFire batteries...)

Went to facebook to see what's new and saw this:

Maybe they could print something like UltraFenix and charge $30 for it

Great price!! :zipper_mouth_face:

Yeah I got the same email and went…… :quest:

That’s scary. Maybe someone that received the email could reply to inform them of the unsafe crap they are selling. I bet they have no idea.

I am guessing the weigh about 1/2 a laptop pull battery.

Funny. For about $2 more I got TEN Samsung quality cells from an eBay pack

Which pack, does the seller have more? I got in on the 8 cell Asus pack, but didn’t see any 10 cell packs for the same price.

KuoH

Just to be clear that’s a dealer not Fenix itself. If this had been an actual crappy Li-ion fueled zombie apocalypse…

What?

We DON'T recommend this battery for Fenix flashlights. You won't get the flashlight run time from this battery according to the specifications in the Fenix spec charts. These are excellent batteries and are compatible with Protected 18650 3000mAh rechargeable 3.7 volt battery - charge with the Ultrafire Multi-Battery charger.

Is that better grandpa?

:P

Yea, thank you grandma!

Fenix used real batteries for their runtimes. These suck hard compared to those but you should buy them anyway because they are “excellent.”

Fenix Outfitters earned the AVOID rank of the years with that one. Since this appears to be a US based organization, a law suit will probably stick after one of these crappy cells explodes and injures someone.

Battery packs aside, you still get two NEW Samsung 2600s for that price.
