[WTS] Convoy T3 and S6/T6 and S2+ mule adapters

Introducing the brand new T3 mule adapter. Can turn a T3 into a pocketable mule, and increases the MCPCB size to 16mm, which means you can cram a 7070 in there!

Also available is the meme T6 adapter, which conveniently also fits Convoy S2 (non plus) and S6. Takes a 20mm MCPCB, so you can fit a quad 5050 MCPCB in there, or a regular 20mm star MCPCB.

To meet factory MOQ I also made some more S2+ mule adapters, which are also for sale.

The adapters are $15 each.

I also have some quad 5050 MCPCBs left:
1-3 $5 each
4-10 $4 each
10+ $2 each

Current shipping rates:
No tracking - up to 50G $5, up to 100g $7.
With tracking - up to 100g $13.

I can ship to any civilized country, plus Denmark and the USA!
Local pickup in Stockholm, Sweden is encouraged.
PayPal, Revolut and Swish are accepted payment methods, you pay any applicable fees though.

Hi JBA,

Thanks for making such interesting adapters and MCPCBs for the venerable Convoy hosts.

Some questions:

  • when using the mule adapter, is a spacer ahead of the MCPCB required for adequate lens pressure?
  • the quad boards, are they in parallel or series?

Dear mr Carrot,

Yes, it is recommended to use a gasket between the MCPCB and the front lens. For the quad 5050 MCPCB there’s no such gasket yet, and I’ve been using the cables as pressure points, which works but is not ideal.
For quad 3535 there’s a gasket though, and also for single 5050, 7070 and 9090.
All of this stuff is open source, you can check it out here:

The T3 stuff is not up there yet, but all the files will be released when I find the time and willpower.

The quad MCPCBs are parallel, and I’ve tested them with the 3V20A buck driver without issue, I don’t know how many amps they will actually take before burning up though.
I’m very excited to hear if anyone manages to find that limit, it would make me super happy!

Cheers
