WTS: Nitecore EA41 Pioneer w/ XHP-35

Hey all, I want to sell my modded Nitecore EA41. It has a custom copper heatsink fitted with an XHP-35 on 20mm noctigon. It is driven by a MTN-MAX buck driver set for 2amps at 12v (momentary switch operation). The light uses four 14500 batteries. The light measures around 77kcd, a vast improvement over the original intensity. The only issue cosmetically is the bezel wont screw down completely. It is barely 1mm from seating fully. I have taken pictures of this. The light is still water resistant as the oring is seated well. The light operates from the power switch as the mode selection switch from the original operation has been disconnected since the driver uses only one input switch. It has four modes from moonlight, low, medium and high. I am proud of this mod, but alas, it’s time to move on to other projects!

The light is $50 shipped to CONUS, or actual shipping everywhere else.

Thanks!

how many lumens does it put out?

If I had to venture a guess, around 2000+. It’s much brighter than my BLF A6. The way I compare them is I hold them at a distance where their hotspots are the same size and see which one is brighter. I know it’s not very scientific, but it gives me a good idea as to how much brighter it is.

I’m envious of you modders! I have the EA4W and really like the light. I got it on sale for only $35. One of my favorites. Yours is a beast! I thought I had heard these were not easy to get into?

Hope it sells!

It definitely wasn’t easy. It’s a point of no return as you have to just about destroy the original LED shelf to get the driver out. I was surprised at the original lack of heat management of the stock light!
