Has the typical issue all these light had (at least so one of the reps said at that time) you can crazy stew the tube onto the head as that will twist
the battery carrier. As long as it is 90% screwed in is fine.
I have never disassembled the head so I do not know details about anything that is inside should you want to ask me that.
