…in my review and testing of the Wuben E7 I found that…
a) the light can be run from a powerbank or usb outlet in a stable, controllable manner. I had it run for hours on high mode and it did not warm up too much, stayed cooler than when run on high/turbo with a battery. This is a very, very useful function but it might not be supported by Wuben. However, I did not find a warning.
b) The USB-C port is fully waterresistant without the rubber/silicone cover. This cover is only a dust cover anyways. Of course, as Wuben offers a remote/gesture sensor, this kind of design is a must to keep the light waterproof. But I did not find it spelled out and they did not include the warning that one must dry the port after any serious contact with water otherwise the light will self activate on accident. A wet port is a problem as the light has control functions in the port. That is a feature and a quirk at the same time.
