Found this 30 second YouTube short video.
Turn the volume down.
Do not be tempted to go digging in your closet for your bell bottoms.
I’ll give this thing a fair “shake”. I’m assuming the Disco revolution is easy to avoid in the UI.
Looks like a party disco light lantern!
Yeah but this thing doesn’t appear to be very bright. For the Disco aspect, I suppose if you turn off all the other lights and put it on a table and everybody gathers around in a 5 foot circle it’ll be fun for about as long as that video was.
That’s just the right amount of party for me. ![]()
Hey lucky guys. I will reply all PM these days and shipping. About Wurkkos CL01, I promise it’s a nice camping first. The disco light is secondary.
Yes, of course. The final decision is yours. I always believe that there is no absolute right or wrong for each answer has its unique value ; )
Are there static RGB modes? If yes, two of these would work great for photography, combining magenta + cyan for example when photographing (small) objects.
Thank you @Wurkkos_Terry. You are awesome!
Do we have an update on this? When should we expect them to be shipped? ![]()
Mine came today (Canada), have not tried it yet.
I will do up an impressions review in a week or two.
None-removable battery? ![]()
DHL just dropped off the CL01 I won. It comes with a very regular Wurkkos 5,000 mWh 21700 flat-top battery.
That’s great to know! Please share your thoughts about this lantern
Man no way! So inside that tube in the middle is a full cell? I was expecting a 900mAh at best. I still have no info on mine.
Yup, i have pointed out the battery in my review that i am writing.
Hello, would there be a black color available? I see only white one available on your website
I recieved my CL01 2 days ago and so far I’m pleasantly surprised by it! ![]()
I’m glad that it is, first and foremost, a regular lantern; turning it on (1 click) will always result in white light (with mode/level memory). You can access the RGB functions also from off, but with 3 clicks it isn’t likely that you will do that accidentally quickly.
I also love that, despite its compact size, it still holds a regular 21700, giving it good battery capacity for it’s size and gives the option of swapping out the battery when needed.
The used magnet is really strong and it stays perfectly in place when it’s sideways and even when upside down! The included 1/4" thread (to mount it on a stand) is a usefull addition.
I was glad to see it has a (constant current) Buck Driver! This should make it an efficient driver/lantern.
All in all my first impressions are certainly positive. There might have been a few things/details I would have liked to see beeing done differently, but those aren’t dealbreakers for me. I will keep using it for the next week and if needed I will comment on it here in this topic.
waiting for my lantern
Same here.
