I’m nervously awaiting the FC11C; the light will be quite floody. It may be great, but ahead of time, as I think I prefer some tighter beams: how difficult is it to replace the reflector to the TIR optics in this light? Are there suitable optics available that would produce a narrower beam? Am I going to ruin it by doing that? And is the light going to be significantly throwier to justify the mod?

Dedoming also makes it warmer (iirc CCT*0.7, roughly), something to keep in mind. And costs a little brightness.

Yes, sounds about right.
I’m definitely curious about TIR’s that might fit the FC11C, for fun more than anything, but… I will say I am very happy with the beam on my 4000K Blue one.
It’s pretty nicely balanced, if favoring flood a bit, and the reflector makes a nicely defined broad hotspot.
