Guys, am I the only winner who didn’t receive it? About a week ago, Terry said they would send it and provide a tracking number, but they’ve gone radio silent since then.

Edit, received July 5. Final mile carrier USPS . They received it on July 3.

Nothing here also. Terry did ask for a phone number in case the carrier couldn’t find my address. I told him I’d rather not have my phone number on the package and they would find my house. No contact since then.

I hope he’s fine. I haven’t seen him around here lately.
I provided all details including phone number.

Received mine (paid order) today. Kinda shocked as it’s Independence Day holiday (US). Delivered by UNI UNI, stuffed in my mailbox. No complaints there. It’s the second order I’ve had delivered by them, and they send photo confirmation just like A-zon.

Initial impression…it’s just a cool little lantern. The colored LED modes are ridiculously fun. My grandkids will love it. I was able to intuitively navigate the UI without perusing the manual, but I’m sure there are some operational nuances that will be clarified once I get a chance to pour over it. Wurkkos is really killin’ it with these recent releases, IMO. This CL01 is truly unique.

Mine took a bit less than two weeks to arrive here in the U.S, shipped via Yanwen Express.

Was asked in a followup to provide a phone number, then just waited until delivery.

What happened here? you ordered them?

Yep … super nice. You need a couple of these … :beers:

I pre ordered on the Wurkkos website.

My free sample showed up today. USPS. I’ll be able to look at it tomorrow.

Well, from the initial reviews so far, I stand corrected on every single one of these points

Congrats Wurkkos for making a great product!

The rotate switch should change the brightness instead the cct.

I have received my free sample today. A box was pierced downside but lantern was undamaged.
I try it and everything work ok, I will test it more tonight.
Integrated charging charge with about 2.5 amps, I try it with empty battery. Wurkkos 5000 mah which come with lantern was on 3.82 volts.
Colour modes are not well documented in user manual, but it is not big problem.
I better like if it has a driver with option of stepped 5 modes of brighness and stepless mode, so everyone can choose which like better.
Stepless is problematic because you don’t know which power you use and how much time battery will last.
In any case this is good lantern.

Hi, did you get the package yet?

Hello!

Sadly no. If it has been sent, please provide tracking number so i can see where it got stuck.
When i order from Wurkkos website, I get the packages in around 10 days usually, and I can see info on the last mile delivery company’s app days before it reaches me. So far they all came through the same delivery company.

Thank you!

I don’t know which cell is under wrap of wurkkos 21700 5000mah battery but it is even better than before.
I test yesterday 21700 battery which came in CL01 with Liitokala lii600 and get result - 5100 mah, while with older wurkkos batteries it was about 5000 mah. The biggest differency is that with this new battery first 1000mah discharge was with voltage highher than 4.00 volts. Discharge current was 500 ma. I know that tests with this types of device are not very precise but I see clearly different results between two batteries. Also wurkkos 21700 5000mah battery is much better than same type od Sofirn battery.

There are plenty of reviews here and on YouTube now. So I’m just going to add a few notes here that may or may not have been covered.
When I first measured it on the opple 3 I was getting 2500k 98cri and 5500k 100cri. Subsequent measurements are showing 2700k and 6000k. I don’t think the battery voltage was too much different so I don’t know why I was getting such different results a week later in the same dark room. If I were to use it it would be on the lowest temperature setting.

I put it in a glass of water 1 inch above the top. After a minute on low I ramped it up to the highest lumen level. I thought I might be seeing a bubble periodically but I wasn’t sure because there were air bubbles in the glass and still stuck to some places on the outside of the light. I turned it over so the light was upside down in the glass and I could see a bubble forming at the tail that would rise up every minute or so. I took note of the spot and pulled the light out and inspected the cap and the body. You have to look very close on the tail cap to see the seams/lines where it came out of the mold. The lines are slightly more visible under the o-ring on the body. I moved the o-ring and scraped them very gently with a knife and went for the dunk test again. I got a few bubbles from a slightly different spot but it seemed to only happen when I cranked the light up to the highest lumen mode. So my guess is just the heat generated inside is raising the pressure a little tiny bit. I carefully dried and disassembled both times and there was no evidence of water getting in. There was no grease on the o-ring when I received it and that’s the way I left it. A tiny little bit of Grease might allow the o-ring to relax a little bit when the cap is screwed on and maybe seal a little bit. And because it doesn’t stay at the very highest level for very long it’s not going to develop much heat and pressure once it steps down. Either way I wouldn’t be to worried about it. It’s not a dive light. The tail cap does not have to be overly tight to seal and the way the negative wire is positioned you can’t simply loosen the tail cap to prevent accidental activation. So you have to use the four fast clicks to lock it out.

I’ve never had a lantern and never really thought I wanted one. It’s not enjoyable to walk with it because you have to hold it out to the side or slightly behind you so it’s not blinding you. I spent some time outside on two occasions in pitch dark with it stuck to the obligatory knife in a tree. Actually there was a little tiny bit of moonlight coming through the trees on one of those occasions. It’s not bright by any means. You don’t necessarily always need bright. I suppose if there are two or more people at a campsite it’s better than having everybody having their own headlight on and shining it into each other’s eyes. This way you just have one light shining in everybody’s eyes. And you can’t see what’s on the other side of the tree.

In the house I suppose during a power outage it could be useful. I compared it to ceiling bouncing another light and I don’t know which one was better. I guess it depends on where you’re going to hang it or if you have a table or some other piece of furniture to ceiling bounce a different light. Again the number of people and what kind of area you’re trying to light up matters.

I tried charging three different phones with it. One was a little finicky. I only left one phone on it for over an hour and it went from 20 something percent up to 90 or so when I unplugged it. I did not measure voltage in the light at that point. I believe there was one light left on the battery indicator. And the light battery was definitely not fully charged when I did that test. I figured you’re not always going to have it fully charged if you were to need it. I can’t get my tester in the recessed C port but I have reason to believe that it’s putting out at least 1.6 amps. The light itself charges at a little over 2 amps.
So if you want a small lantern or you think you want a small lantern this is a good choice.

With some aluminum foil and two rubber bands you can cover half of the light and make some of the problems of a lantern and 360° light go away.
