Wurkkos TS30S Pro dead in minutes

I have a UPS depot within “walking distance” (ish) where you can ship or receive packages, but that’s not listed as a UPS drop-off point. Not any of the other places listed (Manhattan, so bus plus trains, and multiple hours) or other drop-off points I could drive to, but would cost about 6-7 bux for gas, and then again the time involved.

I wasted so much time seeing if they could do it at the hub, but they’re insisting not.

So other than travelling all over Hell’s Creation to drop it off, that means 8bux for a UPS pick-up.

Contrast? I bought “100W” LED bulbs via vipon, only 11bux with tax. They’re only 75W equivalents (11W vs 13W). I gave them 3 stars. Nice, but not as listed.

They contacted me unsolicited, saying sorry about that, you want a refund? No strings attached. I was shocked but said sure, tnx! And yeah, I updated the review pointing out the great customer service. Fair is fair.

Oh, Evelor, I think that’s the brand.

I return stuff all the time, for any reason. The only time I get screwed is with a vipon coupon. You can’t rebuy ( that’s when one of my cats has to purchase the item )
I shop Whole Foods through Amazon, they’ve sent me the wrong items several times. I get full refund and keep the wrong items.

Maybe they just hate me for some reason…

Staples processes Amazon returns here.
Not so in NY?

Staples? Seriously?

That’d be ideal if true. There’s one on 58th St in Woodside which is maybe 10min of local streets.

I should check…

Yeah they do UPS shipping. You will need to have it boxed, labeled etc. but no charge that I am aware of.
Every time I go in there, long line people with Amazon returns.
One day the cashier said is anyone in line not here for amazon return, none raised a hand. (8 People)

Wellp, supposedly, this “bodega” right near sis’s house is a drop-off point, but I’ll have to see it to believe it.

Probably is. UK has little village shops and convenience stores all over that take Amazon returns. Also quite a few returns just involve the item and a QR code, they bag and tag and the refund is back in my account before I’ve got home.

If either Wurkkos or Amazon wanted it back, they’d ask you to return it.

Amazon doesn’t want it back. It would just be another piece of bad merchandise they’d have to deal with.

Wurkkos doesn’t want it back. It would just be another piece of bad merchandise they’d have to pay Amazon a fee to deal with.

Tangentially, people who treat Amazon as some sort of try-before-you-buy service is getting out of hand.

Especially those who clearly use or abuse an item, don’t return it in new, resalable condition, and as a result of Amazon’s lax return processing (which they must own themselves), result in it being restocked, and sent to the next buyer.

The trend of receiving used, or open-box, items when purchasing purportedly new items is increasing, and getting tiresome.

Amazon is too big to care, but if they’re going allow serial abusers to exploit them, then I’ll take my business elsewhere.

A lot of stuff you can get from Walmart and other places for the exact same price.

Eg, case of catfood was 24.88 (distinct and very memorable price) on Chewy. Amazon price? 24.88. Walmart price? 24.88.

I’d always get it from Chewy because they ship almost immediately instead of sitting on the order for 2wks, and it’s FedExed so from order to delivery is 3 max, sometimes/usually 2, days.

Fitty bux minimum for free delivery, but bfd. That’s 3 boxes, which they go through in no time.

Also, once I ordered a Amazon, and it was delivered in a Walmart box! So there’s definitely some coopetition going on there.

Oh, whole point is that Walmart also ships hella fast, and you can order online but return in person to any store.

So there’s definitely an alternative to the Amazon…

Is it still a “bf” if you leave out the “d”?
Jokes aside, check the expiry dates on the cans. Sometimes old stock slips through

No matter what the source, most of the cans are dented, even if the boxes are pristine.

That’s why I suspect the primo cans end up at supermarkets where you pay per can, vs “bundled” in packs of 32, 40, 48.

If they end not asking for the light, I would create an account at Wurkkos or maybe try to contact them and explain the problem.
Who knows? Maybe they can offer some advice. I always purchase directly from them and they have been helful whenever I’ve had an issue.
Sorry it didn’t worked. I haven’t given mine an extensive use but I have enjoyed it a lot whenever I have taken it out.
