I received this light in exchange for a review. I wasn’t expecting much but was I ever surprised! There was a thread here in the Forum on this light bit for some reason it has disappeared. If one wants some more info on it here is the link on Amazon: Amazon.com

I’ll just gush about it here and share some pictures

First off, it is a dive light. I am not a diver and have no intention of using this light underwater. But I’m crazy about this light! It is so well built. It fits perfect in my hand. The switch is bliss, no sound

the switch is raised so no trouble finding it. And such a soft, quiet, press. UI is 5 modes, eco, low, med, high, turbo, that’s it. From 1 lumen to 1000, with memory.

XP-L warm 3000K, smooth reflector
6061 aluminum body
IPX8
toughened glass lens, AR coated
high/low voltage protection
40mm head, 25mm body, 144mm length
reverse polarity protection

this host is fantastic, tank like!

nice solid springs! Very secure lanyard attachment point.

comes nicely packaged, including 3000mAh 18650 cell, charger, USB cable, (2) O-rings

the cell was measured at 3250 mAh by another purchaser in our Forum

in case one forgets or doesn’t know which way to insert the battery

eye candy!

a couple of videos follow. This light says 3000K but when I put it next to a Sofirn SF 36W it was not nearly as warm. The light tested fine under water! This was the first light I ever tested under water

in the video below the Sofirn SF 36W is on the left, the Wurkkos WK20 on the right, both rated at 3000K

This light is so well made. It is a favorite of mine now. I will try and find the thread that disappeared. It had discount codes in it to get this light with the accessories for only $23! Crazy deal! Initially he offered codes to get it at $20! I have not heard of Wurkkos before but if this light makes its rounds they should get some publicity. They offer another light on Amazon, appears to be an upgrade of this one with 2000 lumens. Hard to imagine with over 100 lights in my possession that this would be a favorite - one doesn’t have to spend a fortune to get a good one!

THANK YOU WURKKOS!

edit: new code 30% off, plus 10% Amazon coupon, it will give 40% off in total.

New code:FF5G7YP6, valid time from 27th April to 15th, May

I concur. I bought 2 of ’em (20bux and 24bux w/ c0d3z), and I can’t recall when I was as jazzed getting a light as when I got these (today!).

Whoa… no love for the dive-lights, eh?

Still charging/testing the cells (and some new “LK”s), and my mighty Opus is buzzing away like an angry bumblebee.

Oh, if you get the chance, try some diffusion film. Makes a nice warm area-light!

for me personally a dive light is like a headlamp. I have never used a headlamp as a headlamp, only use it out of my hand. I’ll never use this as a dive light. I would not have known it was a dive light unless I read that it was. Yea, I’ll put some DC Fix on it, diffuse some of that hotspot away. Let me know what you get on the cells, thanks.

I’ve been wearing down one of my new (uncharged, so down to probably 3.4V by now) real-or-fake LKs playing with it, so I’d better stop.

My Opus seems to concur with my almighty Miboxer, while my Zanflare consistently seems overly “optimistic” by about 10% or so. It’ll be buzzing away overnight, so should be done by morning.

Really liking this light so far…

Okay, they finished this morning, and I’m now cooking the remaining LKs I got…

On my mighty Opus, both of the Wurkkos cells clocked in at 2950+, like 2955 and 2973 or something. Pretty close to the 3000mAH as listed.

The 2 LKs I also was cooking clocked in at 3200 and change. Forgot what’s on the labels (3000, 3200, etc.)…

My only concern is that all 4 on the quick test showed resistances between 150mΩ and 200mΩ, which is on the high side. Fairly repeatable after 3-4 tests each. My 30Qs always read under 40-50mΩ.

So, they ain’t too bad. Given that they’re all button-tops (which no doubt adds resistance), that’s not bad at all. I can never get consistent results with button-tops, not even 30Qs.

Gaaaah. Forgot to look down the hole and see if they actually need button-tops. If there’s a spring, then they’d do fine with flat-tops. Would have to wait ’til I get home to check…

Oh yeh, who was it that measured 3200mAH on the cells? Used a Zanflare? That’d fit with the “10% optimistic” observation…

He was in the other thread that disappeared. Moderator removed that thread for ‘shilling and spamming.’

Hmm, that’s not good. Worse ’cause it’s actually a really nice light, not junk.

And no blinkies!!

Looks like same light as Sofirn SD02, 22.37 on Aliexpress, no battery or charger. Wurkkos 39.00 on Amazon with battery and charger.

4492011, discount code (FF5G7YP6) up above, plus Amazon 10% code, gets you 40% off. Roughly $24!

Thank you, only brings it down to 27.99, I don’t see the 10% coupon.

It was there… One-use code plus 10% off netted me the first light for 20bux.

Gone now

I have one coming for review on Amazon. Really can’t wait for the WK20S. XHP35-HD will be quite a bit brighter.

just happen to run across this on the light, never heard of it before. Too bad there isn’t any codes for it.
