X80GT NOT working HELP

I had the X80 GT on turbo and then it just shut off by itself I tried to switch out the batteries Out and put the new ones in and I held on the button and it made a whining noise and the light turn led from green to red and Now it won’t turn on at all, I waited for it to cool down as well

Sounds like a faulty driver, I would contact the seller AND manufacturer. What cells are you using btw?

it died with the included batteries but i used 30qs before hand and it was ok, it seems that it killed one acebeam battery to 0.00 v and rest were 4.1 volts then i switched out the batteries to my 30qs and it killed one of them too

That sounds like a dead short on that battery.

you think that battery shorting killed the light and thus inserting my 30qs afterwards killed my battery as well?

No. If a battery dies going to zero volts it sounds like there was a short somewhere causing the problem. I dont have this light.
